After lying vacant for 30 years, we re-imagined the Superior Bathhouse into a brewery, craft beer tasting room, full service, family-friendly restaurant and event venue. We are Hot Springs on tap.
In 2011, Rose Schweikhart moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas with an impossibly big dream: to brew beer commercially using the city’s famous 144 degree spring water. She formed a company and began the arduous two year negotiation to lease a historic former-bathhouse in the heart of Hot Springs National Park from the federal government. Construction began in late spring of 2013 and today, the Superior Bathhouse is home to the only brewery in a US National Park and the only brewery in the world to utilize thermal spring water in their beer. Rose considers beer to be a creative process. Like the varied timbers and dynamics one can coax from a tuba, grains, hops, and yeast offer an endless creative pallet, and create she does. Rose and the Superior Bathhouse brewing team crank out a constant stream of new beer from the original to the outlandish. If we can turn a 100-year-old bathhouse into a brewery, we can turn any event into something special.
Our main banquet space, The Tap Hall, can accommodate groups as small as 10 and as large as 100 guests (depending on the configuration). With a dedicated private bar, boasting 16 taps and custom full catering menu, our ADA accessible second floor is sure to serve all your guests’ needs.
In addition to The Tap Hall, with beautiful views overlooking Arlington Lawn, The Corner Office is perfect for intimate gatherings of 15 or less.

We proudly partner with JV Farms IN BISMARCK, ARKANSAS.
Spent grains from our brewing process make their way to JV Farms to feed their livestock. We then purchase our brats from the farm, bringing the whole thing full circle, so that we can offer you locally sourced, ethically-raised, premium beer-”raised and braised” brats.
